ICT Health showcases cloud services to empower digital health communities

Dubai, 22nd January 2016

ICT Health, the region’s most awarded clinical technology systems integrator, today announced its plan to launch a set of cloud services that monetizes collaboration between care stakeholders whilst helping care providers virtually engage their patients. Traditionally, most hospitals have focused on adopting Health IT to drive efficiencies through process automation in the hope of improved clinical and financial outcomes. However in today’s connected world, a true digital care facility has to look beyond its physical boundaries and leverage mobility to take care to the patient.

“ICT Health’s digital destination has always been collaborative social care. Our upcoming cloud service ‘HinaiX’ draws inspiration from mainstream social media technologies and is designed to work in convergence with our flagship HINAI Web platform enabling interconnected networks of practitioners, care facilities and service providers”, said Mr. Gautam Dey, MD & CEO ICT Health.

Reinforcing this approach,

Mr. Fareed Al Hinai, Vice Chairman ICT Health said “Healthcare takes place as much outside hospitals as it does inside them. Through this network, we can also help enterprise care providers, both governmental and private sector to aggregate & analyze health data, trends & patterns from specific demographics to larger populations. These findings can then be used to better manage population health, obtain granular cost visibility and benefit from big data analytical models for better policy planning and research”.

With HinaiX, ICT Health plans to interoperably link ambulatory & acute care encounters with home care and wearable data through secure exchange of meaningful & standards-based health information. Aided by the increased availability of higher bandwidth, better connectivity and smart mobile devices, this meaningful collaboration amongst healthcare stakeholders will help bring to fruition new age care access & delivery channels. This would also help seed alternative business models for care providers to sustain their competitive advantage.

The company is set to launch the ‘HinaiX’ service in the next quarter across the GCC sector and envisions to do a phase-wise roll out. ICT Health held a media preview of the cloud service on 28 January 2016 at The Palace Downtown.
